Prospect and Vision
At present, the demand for transportation experts is increasing rapidly to promote efficient traffic flow, as traffic congestion is a major problem for modern people, which is directly related to the quality of life. The Ministry of General Affairs has already established a transportation civil service system in 1994 for the purpose of hiring 5th grade technical at high schools, hiring 7th and 9th grade officials, and first-class traffic engineers. Traffic engineers is a national qualification system, and the demand for qualified professional manpower for each city and province is expected to accelerate as we enter the local autonomy era.
The demand for employment is also increasing not only in the various transportation research institutes, local governments, specialized technical service companies, but also in the media sectors related to transportation, road and civil engineering companies, large Freight forwarding companies, shipping, aviation and distribution companies.
In addition, R & D investment on advanced transportation technology is actively under way.
