• Applicants who wish to obtain a teacher's qualification for graduate school of education can apply only to the same major of undergraduate.

Graduate school transfer program can be applied only to those who have completed the Graduate School of Education program with same major of undergraduate.

1. 1Admission Documents

   • New applicants must have graduation(expected) certificate 1 copy and transcript1 copy
     

     If applicant do not earn the degree in February 2020, the admission will be canceled.

     Transfer applicants must submit former graduate school enrollment(registration) certificate or graduation(completion) certificate 1copy and transcript 1 copy respectively

   • 1 copy of consent for collection and use of personal information
   • 2 photos of the nameplate for the last 6 months (for attaching the application form and the admission ticket)
     

     All documents must be submitted in their original form



2. 2Additional Documents for Education Graduate School
   • Counseling Education Major: Applicants who wish to obtain a professional counselor (Level 1) certificate must submit the relevant teacher certificate (original) and at least 3 years of education experience certificate (issued by NICE).
   • Students who graduated with transmission must submit former university graduation certificate and transcript.

   • Transfer admission: Additionally, submit graduation certificate of undergraduate and transcript.

4. 4Additional documents for graduates from overseas universities
   • Original copy of graduation certificate (notarized in Korean)
   • Original copy of transcript (notarized in Korean- sure to be noted average score / perfect score)
   • Academic inquiry confirmation letter (for academic inquiry to graduate university of applicant)
   • Accredited University Confirmation

     • Graduated from Overseas University besides China

       Original certificate of accredited university (issued by Korean consulate or national consulate in the country of origin, contact each consulate) or original Apostille certificate
       - Those who acquired a degree in the US: "Certification of Accredited University" by the Korea-US Board of Education (02-3275-4000)
       - Those who acquired a degree in Japan: "Certification from the Embassy Consulate” (02-739-7400)
       - Those who have obtained a degree from other countries should select one of following documents
       : “Confirmation of Accredited University” at the embassy of the country, “Confirmation of Overseas Education Institution” at the Korean consulate of the country, and “Confirmation of Apostille” from the government agency of the country

5. 5Additional documents for supernumerary(foreigner) Admission
   • 1 copy of recommendation letter from the advisor professor from the applicant’s university
   • 1 copy of applicant and parents’ passports and ID card
   • Proof of relationship between applicant and parents
   • Korean Transcript (TOPIK Level 4 or higher) (3 or higher in the Arts and Physical Education)
   • Copy of applicant's alien registration card (Residents in Korea only)
   • 1 Original copy of an applicant’s or the parents’ domestic or foreign bank balance certificate (US)-US $ 20,000 or more

1. 1If the contents of the application form are different from the facts, the admission may be canceled
2. 2The application by mail must be sent by registered mail andonly upon arrival on the application deadline

   Documents to be submitted (original) must be accepted for arrival at the Graduate School Team by 2020.1.3. (Fri)

   Application Fee must be deposited in applicant’s name

3. 3Submitted documents will not be returned and admission records will not be disclosed.
4. 4If some parts of the documents to be submitted are not submitted within the relevant period, the relevant documents will be excluded and the applicant will be responsible for any consequence
5. 5Arrive at the waiting room 10 minutes before the interview time and wait on the day of the interview (interview time and location will be announced later)
6. 6You must bring your ID card on the day of the interview, and refrain from using electronic devices such as mobile phones.
7. 7Matters not specified in the recruitment guide about recruiting new graduate students will be determined by the Graduate School Management Committee
8. 8If the applicant is expected to graduate in February 2020, the original graduation certificate must be submitted to the relevant academic team by February 28 (Fri), 2020. Admission will be canceled if not submitted in time. The applicant will be responsible for any late documents and deductions in admission evaluation.
