Selection Process

Selection process of Myongji Scholarships

Step 1.

Student Welfare and Public Service Team under Office of Student Career Development determines the number of beneficiaries.
Step 2.

Selects candidates with high priority according to the Law as like Patriots-Veterans scholarship
Step 3.

In proportion to colleges or departments’ total enrolled students’ number, distributes the number of beneficiaries.
Step 4.

Department select or recommend scholarship holders by standards such as GPA, Financial difficulties and disablities.
Step 5.

Final selection (scholarship amount will be deducted on the tuition bill)

Step 1.

Accept official scholarship recommendation document from outside organizations.
Step 2.

Dispatch official document requesting recommendation for scholarship to related departments according to the qualification and condition of scholarship organization.
Step 3.

After checking the suitability of the student for the scholarship (other scholarship beneficiary, enrollment, scores etc.), dispatch official scholarship recommendation document to outside organization.
Step 4.

Outside organization reviewing the document, selects beneficiaries and remit money.
Step 5.

Send money to students. A beneficiary should visit student welfare and public service team to make out a receipt of the scholarship.
