Introduction and Characteristics
Department of Food and Nutrition first accredited by the Ministry of Education in 1966, has a long history and many talents. Students who are majoring in our department can be dietitians, food sanitation inspectors, educational nutritionist, educational community nurses through national examinations conducted annually. Nutrition related areas such as nutrition education, community nutrition, clinical nutrition; food Science areas such as food science, zymology, food engineering, Biotechnology area such as nutrient metabolism and function of the mechanism and feeding management areas help make businesses efficient. By improving ability not only to departmentalize and characterize, but also unify those, students can get a practical and applied scientific knowledge and skills.
With future oriented and promising views, admission of our department is highly competitive without parallel. It also is highly acclaimed at home and abroad. We moreover constantly encourage students to satisfy their major with providing programs with theory and practical.

Mission Statement
The Department of Food and Nutrition provides students specialized education to play a role, which is delivering scientific food and nutrition knowledge beyond the taste, survival, studies, and development of nutrition and it’sits related technology. Our mission is to study the interaction between nutrients in food and human body and staying healthy by practicing the right diet, in addition, we aim to foster talents to promote health and well-being as well as to manage food supply suitable for the industrial society
