The industry of modern society is not only being subdivided and specialized, but also requires a higher level of specialized and advanced technical human resources by combining academy and industrial technology. Therefore, the Graduate School is trying to foster talents possessing professional knowledge and technology to lead the 21st century
History of the Graduate School
11/1990 | The Graduate School of Industrial Technology was established with four departments, 11 majors, and 60 admissions. Those were Department of Industrial Electronics Engineering ( Majors of Industrial Electronics, Control & Measurement and Industrial Electrical), Department of Construction Engineering (Majors of Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Transportation Engineering), Department of Industrial Materials Engineering (Majors of Inorganic Materials, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Materials), Department of Information Engineering (Majors of Industrial Management and Information, and Computer Information) |

12/1992 | Dr. Ki-Chang Lee was appointed as the 2nd Dean of the Graduate School of Industrial Technology |
9/1993 | The Department of Industrial Materials Engineering was renamed to the Department of Inorganic Materials, the Department of Information Engineering to the Department of Industrial Engineering. The Department of Construction Engineering was divided into the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture Engineering. The Department of Industrial Design was formed. |
10/1994 | The Department of Transportation Engineering was abolished. |

2/1995 | Dr. Moo-Shil Peon was appointed as the 3rd Dean of Graduate School of Industrial Technology |

2/1997 | Dr. Young-Bae Park was appointed as the 4th Dean of Graduate School of Industrial Technology |
10/1997 | The Graduate School of Industrial Technology was renamed to the Graduate School of Industry. The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering were renamed to the Department of Industrial Technology; Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Architecture Engineering to Department of Architecture; Department of Computer Engineering to Department of Information Technology; Department of Inorganic Materials to Department of Ceramic Technology. Admission was increased by 12 students to the total of 60 students |
2/1999 | Major of Cultural Heritage under Department of Architecture was changed to Department of Cultural Heritage |
11/1999 | The Departments of Fashion Design and Traditional Crafts was formed. Admission was increased by 20 students to the total of 80 students |

3/2004 | The Department of Pastoral Information, Department of Architecture Development, Department of Electric Power Engineering, and Department of Korean Traditional Food and Culture were formed. . The Majors of Architecture Archeology under Department of Cultural Heritage was formed |
