Introduction and Characteristics
In order to lead the 4th industrial revolution in which innovative changes is emerging by cutting-edge information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, mobile, etc., Department of Information Communication Engineering aims to cultivate the talent with creative thinking and global competitiveness. Information and communication technology is the representative future growth engine, taken up 30% of Korea's total exports, and is the core technologies in future convergence areas such as autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, telemedicine, intelligent robots, smart finance, blockchain and space exploration, as well as traditional IT fields such as smartphones, computer software, 3D printers, wireless mobile communications and information security. The Department of Information and Communication Engineering has an excellent future convergence curriculum and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and, provides industry demand-based education through various national support projects such as IPP and LINC + in order to cultivate practical tailored talents.
Graduates are exerting their abilities actively in companies such as Samsung, LG, and IBM, national research institutes, and graduate schools at home and abroad, and is expected to play a leading role by entering into knowledge-leading companies in not only ICT but also all industries in the future when the 4th Industrial Revolution expands further.

Mission Statement Ⅰ (Establishment of Major Basic)
Firmly establish the ability of comprehension and application of mathematics, science, computer and engineering theory for information and communication engineering
- I-I. Ability to understand mathematics, basic sciences, and information and communication engineering majors
- I-II. Ability to apply mathematics and basic scientific knowledge to solve engineering problems

Cultivate the capability of problem analysis as well as design ability and practical skill utilization of Information and Telecommunication Engineering

Developing creative thinking skills, effective communication skills, and cooperative skills among members through team projects and internships
