Introduction and Characteristics
The Department of Digital Contents Design was established to foster the talent for the digital contents industry. Today when digital contents industry is gradually expanding by combining ICT(Information and Communications Technology) with traditional contents and new digital format contents industries, it is very important to upgrade various peripheral technologies into new industries through the convergence of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Cultural Technology (CT)
In order to realize this, we need the professional who can make creative digital content. The boundaries between the computer industry and the information / content industry is broken and new forms of industry, arising from the convergence of content and service areas, require talents with diverse abilities
The Department of Digital Contents Design fosters the leaders who lead the digital contents industry, the core of the creative economy by cultivating talents with creative expression, ICT and ICT implementation skills and cultural content application skills, being fitted to the student’s capability and talent. Design Contents Design Department develops user-oriented way of thinking in planning and producing digital contents such as mobile apps and games and provides a variety of humanities education to increase the insight that discover new values by communicating with the social culture.
In addition, acquiring computer and programming knowledge to implement essential ICT and CT, students are provided a variety of expressive courses such as design planning and practical skills to develop creative expression ability.

Basic skills to understand and apply the basic principles of design and computer programming.

- I-II. Logical thinking and basic implementation skills required for computer programming.

Basic ability to understand basic principles of digital contents and produce with application

- II-III. Ability to acquire and apply media and storytelling theories required for digital content.

Content, format, and implementation technology ability required for mobile games and applications

Major Change and Transfer Admission Standard
Transfer period
Beginning of every year(February)

- Autonomously Processed by Each Department
- Campus Exchange Program
Eligibility for Application
- Students who registered and completed courses over 1 year-grade in our university
(Only, transferred students should complete 1 year-grade in our university.) - Students who have kept more than 2.5 GPA(Grade Point Average)
- Students who didn’t get disciplinary punishment ever(the 59th Clause of School Regulations)
- Student athlete are not admitted.
Major Change and Transfer Admission Standard
- Admission Decision by internal rules of each transfer department (Document Screening 50%, Interview 50%)
- Transfer after 2nd semester: Basic Liberal Arts 2 Courses, GPA B + (3.5)
- Transfer rafter 4th semester: Basic Liberal Arts 4 Courses, GPA B + (3.5)
- Subject to transferred department’s standards and final confirmation from the Academic Support Team
Credit Recognition and Curriculum
- Completed credits before transfer, general basic courses are recognized, majors are changed into elective courses.
- Should complete all of the courses according to curriculum after Transfer
- Grades and semesters are readjusted to successful applicants from degraded transfer students.
Dual Major Application Standard and Curriculum
- 3.0 or higher GPA of the Department
- Complete at least 2 general basic courses of College of ICT Convergence
- Document Screening 50%, Interview 50%
