Prospects and Vision
Through various career guidance, college life is guided based on early confirmation of the career that suits one's aptitude, ability and preference. Meanwhile, there have been various career guidance and employment counseling activities both inside and outside of the school, but they were not so effective because they had limitations that were not related to the major. In order to overcome these limitations, the College of Law offers a wider range of subject choices as well as offering a wide range of subjects, by reducing the number of required courses. In addition, if students’ career is confirmed early, they can take the necessary courses systematically and participate in foreign language or related major classes. Universities are the halls of learning, and traditional law is primarily intended to convey systematic theories and precedents based on profound legal philosophy. On the other hand, law is a practical discipline, and there are many passages to advance to the society through legal knowledge.
The fact that law is as much popular as business administration to the student, has nothing to do with it. In the future, professors will devise the method to effectively transfer knowledge and information on employment obtained through various on- and off-campus activities. Students will be able to prepare their career paths and employment by reducing their trial and error through exchanges with seniors who have already advanced in their desired fields. Alumni can also use this opportunity to strengthen their ties with other alumni who have entered other fields and to gain access to new knowledge and information through communication with professors at the school.
