Introduction and Characteristics
Business in the 21st century is in the limitless competition in the global market through immediate and exact decision-making and technological innovation, so that information technology (such as computer, software, communication) is imperative to secure competitiveness under such environment.
The Department of Management Information Systems reinforces the competitiveness by making manufacture, distribution and management process efficient, and developing new products and services using information technology such as internet, client/server system, e-commerce, and digital multimedia. Graduates of this department can start career in various fields such as information technology service industry, information management service industry, electronic financial industry, trade and distribution industry, financial insurance, and consulting.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Management Information Systems is to foster talents who can creatively use the information technology and can actively respond to technological changes. The Department of Management Information System consists of two majors; the management information system and information technology management. SLO (Student Learning Goals) of each major are stated below.

Big Data Analysis | 1. Equipped with the capabilities to understand the technology and methodology to analyze big data and to utilize them. 2. To cultivate business problem solving abilities by utilizing results of Big Data Analysis |
