Transfer of Major (Department)
Qualification
- 11Students who have completed the course of the first year or above and have registered for the semester.
(However, transfer students who have completed at least 1/4 of the minimum graduate credits of our university, and students who entered the college of major liberal studies and college or undergraduate students who have completed the second years) - 2Students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher of former department(major)
- 3Those who have not received disciplinary action under Article 59 of the School Regulation
- 4Transfer between day and evening departments(majors) are not allowed.
Type of Transfer (Department)
- 1General transfer (department): Completed 1st and 2nd year and transferred to 2nd and 3rd year (department)
- 2Down Transfer(department): Transfer (department) with a downgrade of grade or semester
Transfer Period (Department)
Students who have completed the first year or above course before the start of the first semester (during January)
Transfer Procedure (Department)
- 1 Students who wish to transfer the department should fill out the [Transfer Application] which is available in the Academic Support Team at the Office of Academic Affairs.
- 2Receive the consent of the dean or the head professor of transferring department.
- 3 Submit the [Transfer Application] (transcripts, academic record book) to the transferred Campus Academic Support Team.
- 4 Transfers applications submitted to the Academic Aid Team, will be sent to the prospective department.
- 5 Each department will screen them for candidates who wish to transfer and their results sent to the Academic Support Team.
- 6 The Academic Support Team will announce the successful candidates.
Selection
- 1 Transfer of the department should be conducted without distinction of affiliation.
- 2 Selection of the department is decided after deliberation according to the evaluation criteria set by the department's private rule.
Others
- 1 If the tuition fee is different from the previous department, the difference is paid or refunded.
- 2 Student who have received a transfer permit, must be aware of that the credits completed by the transferring department are recognized, but must complete certain courses according to the curriculum of the transferred department. In addition, completed major courses of former departments before transfer are recognized as general option.
- 3 In case of down transfer to second year or third year, grade and semester will be adjusted.
