What is an International Student ID Card?
The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) was created in 1950 by the International Student Travel Association (ISTC), and since 1976, it has become more active with the support of UNESCO and is now recognized in more than 100 member countries. It is necessary ID card for students who want to study abroad or travel abroad since it makes students status can be recognized anywhere in the world.
International Student ID Card Issuance
- Eligibility: Registered and leave students of undergraduate, graduate (but not graduate school completion students)
- Procedure: Issuance Procedure: Fill out the online application form on the university homepage → Pay the fee (17,000 KRW) → Bring your ID card to the academic support team
- Required Time: Issued the next day
International Student ID Card Validity
The validity of the ISIC is effective for 13 months from the month of issue.
It is advised to check your departure schedule and get issued.
(for example, if issued in June, validity is until the end of June of the following year).
The expiration date cannot be modified - if you planning to study abroad or travel abroad, it is recommended to have the card issued close to your departure date.

The international telephone card function, necessary for students traveling abroad, can be easily credited from the International Student ID website without issuing a separate telephone card, by entering the 12-digit International Student ID number written on the bottom right of the International Student ID card. - 4Student Airline Ticket
Unlike regular airline tickets, SATA student air tickets, issued only to international student ID Card holders, are providing services such as rebooking, reissuing misplaced tickets. through World Student Travel Agency Network. It is 10% to 40% cheaper than other general student airline tickets.

Discounts are available in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States, and can be purchased at a student travel agency before departure from Korea. - 6Worldwide Accommodation Booking Service
Students can book accommodation online or through a student travel agency. - 7International Student Insurance
On the website, students can easily join and compare the rates and contract terms of two, AIG / CHUBB insurance companies. Once students have filled in International Student ID number, students will receive special student insurance rates. - 8Other services

- Notice
- Applying ISIC, please check validity date. The validity of the ISIC is effective for 13 months from the month of issuance(for example, if issued in June, validity is until the end of June of the following year).
- ISICs, issued on campus, can only be given international cash card functions. (Visit the Foreign Exchange Bank and apply separately/ fee KRW 1,000)
- Some ISIC benefits may have age restrictions.
- ISIC is not a Membership Card, therefore non-refundable after issuing. Please carefully check the ISIC notice before issuing.
