College of Architecture

The College of Architecture in Myongji University, consists of the majors of Architecture, Traditional Architecture, and Space Design majors. Related topics are actively reinforced between majors. It is the first time in Korea that the engineering college and architecture college have been separated into two departments. It has the largest faculty in architecture and is proud to be home of excellent full-time professors in a variety of specialties. Specialized programs focused on architectural education have the advantage that human and physical competencies can focus on architectural design education and has the curriculum system to allow for a variety of elective courses and for advanced majors. College of Architecture provides basic the program made of as a 5-year system, Bachelor Degree of Architecture. We can already get Accreditation of Architectural Engineering Education by ABEEK. The Space Design major also operates Korea's only 5-year design curriculum, and boasts excellent employment rate through providing various specialized interior and public design education in urban and architectural spaces. Department of Architecture of the College of Architecture in Myongji University with excellent professors and diverse curriculum management systems within these three majors, it is offering the best architecture curriculum with a selection of design studios, overseas education programs, and specialized graduate design studios. Also, we provide reading rooms dedicated to architecture department with a wealth of architectural specialized books, a variety of equipment (laser cutter, 3D printer, 3D scanner, woodworking room) and a 24- hours open independent design education building. These are proudly called the architectural education and preparation site for the future.
