최옥경 교수는 시맨틱 웹, 데이터 분석, 인공지능 기반 추천 시스템, 모바일·로봇 환경에서의 지능형 서비스 기술을 중심으로 연구를 수행해 왔습니다. 사용자 중심의 개인화 서비스, NFC 기반 인증 및 보안 기술, 영상 처리, 인간 친화적 로봇 서비스 분야에서 다수의 연구 성과를 발표하였으며, SCI/SCIE/Scopus 등재 국제학술지 논문을 포함한 다양한 연구 실적을 보유하고 있습니다. 또한 산업통상자원부 등 국가 연구과제 수행을 통해 실제 현장에 적용 가능한 실용 중심의 연구를 지속적으로 진행해 왔습니다. 현재 명지대학교 방목기초교육대학에서 교양 컴퓨터 분야의 교육과 연구를 담당하고 있으며, 이론과 실습을 유기적으로 연계한 교육과 학생 참여형 연구를 지향하고 있습니다.

Prof. Okkyung Choi has conducted research focusing on the Semantic Web, data analysis, AI-based recommendation systems, and intelligent service technologies for mobile and robotic environments. She has published numerous research works in areas including user-centered personalized services, NFC-based authentication and security technologies, image processing, and human-friendly robotic services.

Her research includes publications in internationally indexed journals such as SCI, SCIE, and Scopus. Additionally, she has continuously pursued practice-oriented research with real-world applicability through national research projects supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of Korea. She is currently engaged in education and research in the field of general computer studies at the Bangmok College of General Education, Myongji University, with a focus on integrating theory and practice and promoting student-participatory research.
